If you or your organization is interested in starting an afterschool program, we can assist with information and resources. Thanks to Beyond School Bells—the Nebraska statewide afterschool network—a comprehensive online toolkit for starting an afterschool program has been made available. Another great resource is the Beyond the Bell Toolkit from the American Institutes for Research (AIR). At least once a year, MASN offers Beyond the Bell Toolkit training to showcase its features and uses. An important consideration in starting an afterschool program is to talk to your local school officials and community partners (e.g., Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCAs, churches). Please contact us if you would like more information or assistance on starting an afterschool program.
