Lights On Afterschool is an annual event to shine a light on afterschool people, programs and policy. The event is celebrated by 1 million people in 10,000 locations. Consider hosting an event at your program this year. Activities range from showcasing work and talents of youth, to resource fairs or games nights for families and so much more. Get creative! You can help raise awareness of afterschool by doing the following:

2 Invite policymakers like school board members and legislators
3 Notify your local media
