In conjunction with the Missouri AfterSchool Network CAPSA (Career Awareness and Post-Secondary Access) Initiative, MASN will host their sixth High School Student Leadership Summit on Wednesday, April 5 at Missouri S&T in Rolla for both new and returning high school student participants.
The Summits launch an exciting program opportunity for high school sites where students learn how to achieve their “Second to None” life and begin the 220 Leadership modules. Returning students will share their experience, have their achievements celebrated and be introduced to new curriculum that will teach them interviewing skills, how to build their resume, employability skills, personal finance, entrepreneurship and more! Programs will gain access to the curriculum offered by 220, monthly Peer Learning Community (PLC) meetings, weekly office hours with 220 and additional resources all completely FREE due to the generosity of the Charles S. Mott Foundation.
Follow this link to learn more about our collaboration with 220 Leadership and if you have any questions, please contact Mark Cowsert, Associate Director of Policy and Partnerships, at cowsertm@missouri.edu or Aaron Banks, CAPSA & Entrepreneurship Coordinator at abanks@missouri.edu.
Student participation is limited to 75 spots so please register as soon as possible using this link. This is a great way to kick off post-Spring Break programming with your high school students! WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!
