From the Alliance’s site, you are able to track afterschool-related policy at the state and federal level, read the latest news alerts, and spot the latest trends in afterschool and summer programming. You can also register your Lights On! events and access materials and resources for everything from planning a legislator site visit to creating a media kit for your program.

Expanded Learning and Afterschool

This website started as the web platform for the “Expanding Minds and Opportunities” compendium with over 90 peer-reviewed studies and commentaries on the benefits of afterschool, and has now evolved into a one stop shop for afterschool information. The website features everything from toolkits for getting programs or partnerships off the ground to resources for prgoram professionals and providers to commentaries and articles to share with policymakers on the benefits of afterschool.
