Lights on Afterschool

Did you know? Each October, one million Americans and more than 7,500 communities nationwide celebrate the afterschool programs that keep kids safe, inspire them to learn and help working families. In 2014, there were over 450 events across Missouri to celebrate Lights On Afterschool.

Lights On Afterschool is a national event to help raise awareness about the importance of afterschool and community-based programs during the non-school hours. More information about Lights On Afterschool is available on the Afterschool Alliance’s website.

Champions

Help us to recruit champions who support afterschool by distributing the Afterschool Works! pledge card to families, staff, and community partners, or directing them to our website.  Visit the Afterschool Works! Campaign page to learn more!

Tell Your Story

We need your stories from around the state on high quality activities in your afterschool and expanded learning programs.

Stories will be reviewed and selected articles will be published in the Mosaic Newsletter and/or on the MASN and MOSAC2 websites.
